WORKS

You can now sign up to receive a weekly email update of all the jobs posted to the ICABC website (www.ica.bc.ca) during the previous week. To sign up, click on ICABC/Employment Services/Receive Emails of Job Postings.

On the sign-up page, you can choose what regions of BC and job levels (i.e., volunteer, permanent part-time, permanent full-time, per-diem, or contract) you'd like job information for.

You must be signed into the website to sign up for or cancel this service, as the emails will be sent to the email address listed under your online userID and password. This sign-up procedure also gives you the chance to check and correct this email address to make sure it's valid.

ICABC members already have userIDs and passwords. If you don't know what yours are, or you're having problems signing in, please contact me at mikusch@ica.bc.ca (or give me a call at 604-488-2618).

Receive email updates for the ICABC website

You can also sign up to receive emails about new items on the ICABC website. We currently have the following email updates available:

* Beyond Numbers the latest issue of the member magazine

* ICABC Member Benefits: the newest member benefits (i.e. great discounts!)

* Media Releases: the latest release

* Members Handbook: the most recent updates

* News 'N Views: the latest issue of the newsletter aimed at sole-practitioners and partners in all CA firms in BC and the Yukon

* Professional Development Courses: the newest PD catalogue

* Public Policy Review: the most recent issue, detailing the latest changes in recent government policies, regulations, reports, and announcements that are relevant to the CA profession

* Tax Traps & Tips: the most recently published article

* What's New: miscellaneous items that don't fit into the categories above

Non-ICABC members

Non-ICABC members who would like to sign up for these email updates can choose "Subscribe" from the horizontal tool bar on the ICABC website to create their own userIDs and passwords.
